Scope of Service and Limits of Responsibility

Disclaimer

This disclaimer applies to the tutorials, technical information, download links, and other content on this site. Read it before installing software or changing your network settings.

1. Site Purpose and Scope

This site provides V2Ray guides and download links, covering the v2rayN desktop client, the v2rayNG Android client, and related core components. Instructions are intended to help users understand installation, subscription imports, proxy modes, and routing settings. They are not a guarantee of technical results for any particular device or network environment.

Website content, client software, core components, and subscription services are separate parts of the process. Providing a download link or describing related technology does not imply any guarantee about subscription providers, remote services, or connection results. Users should check the requirements and suitability of each software product and service they use.

2. Software and Configuration Risks

Installing, updating, or running a client may change system proxy settings, network routes, DNS resolution, and how apps access the network. Features such as TUN may also require additional system permissions. Assess whether an operation is suitable for your device, and assume responsibility for risks such as configuration errors, lost connections, compatibility issues, and data loss.

Before changing settings, back up any configurations you need and note your current network settings. Get the necessary authorization before making changes on a work device or managed network. If a problem occurs, stop adding settings, restore the previous proxy and routing configuration, and troubleshoot one item at a time. Do not disable system security features to resolve connection issues.

Subscription URLs, share links, and configuration files may contain access credentials. Store them securely and do not expose them in public screenshots, logs, or discussions. A successful connection does not mean every app is using the proxy as intended, nor does it guarantee communications privacy or the reliability of remote services.

3. Tutorial Accuracy and Version Differences

Our tutorials are based on the current versions and verifiable information available when they are written. Client updates, core changes, operating system differences, and changes to installation methods may affect menu names, setting locations, or default behavior. Check the interface, error messages, and documentation included with the software before proceeding.

We make reasonable efforts to correct known issues, but cannot guarantee that all content is complete, current, or suitable for every environment. Example settings explain configuration concepts and should not be treated as production-ready. Before applying settings for listening addresses, ports, DNS, or routing rules, understand their effects.

The troubleshooting steps in our tutorials are intended to help narrow down a problem, but may not resolve every issue. If the cause is unclear, keep a redacted record of what happened and avoid repeatedly resetting or overwriting your existing configuration.

Download links and external links provide access to related resources. Their destinations may be maintained by third-party providers, and their content, availability, access requirements, and release schedules may change independently. We cannot continuously control these services, and linking to them does not make us responsible for their performance or obligations.

Before visiting a linked page or using a related service, review its terms and decide whether the resource is suitable for your device. If a link is broken, a download is interrupted, or the destination changes, do not continue installation using an alternative from an unknown source. Contact the actual provider about accounts, payments, or subscriptions.

5. Limitation of Liability and Issue Resolution

Users must comply with applicable local laws, network-use rules, and third-party service terms. Do not use software to infringe others’ rights or for unauthorized activities. To the extent permitted by applicable law, this site is not liable for indirect losses arising from reliance on site content, software operation, or third-party services. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits liability where applicable law does not allow it.

This disclaimer may be revised as the scope of our services or content changes. The month of each update will be shown. For help, first see Troubleshooting in the FAQ, or check the steps in Getting Started. Do not share subscription details or complete configuration files containing access credentials publicly.
